With the Volare XC Race 20-inch children's bicycle, cycling to school and friends is fun for every child. Safety comes first: the bike has both a hand brake (front V-brake) and a coaster brake. The Shimano Nexus 3-speed gear system with micro-shifters ensures easy gear selection. Other features include reflectors, battery-operated front and rear lights, a bell, an angled non-height-adjustable stem, a comfortable soft saddle, an aluminum kickstand, and robust, extra-wide pneumatic tires. The extra-long seat post allows for longer use as the child grows. Front fork suspension increases riding comfort. The bicycle is delivered approximately 85% pre-assembled and is suitable for children aged approx. 6–8 years (clothing size 116–128).
